MNASQ is pleased to announce Jerome Hamilton, Vice President Lean Six Sigma & Acquisition Integration (Global) at 3M, as the keynote speaker for the 2013 Professional Development Summit on February 26 & February 27, 2013 at Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Center, MN.
Hamilton was hired by 3M in 2006 as director, manufacturing operations and supply chain services. Prior to that he worked for Ford Motor Company in St. Paul, MN, as global director of material flow and equipment engineering; plant manager, stamping operations; and plant manager, truck assembly. Before joining Ford, he worked at New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc. (NUMMI) in Fremont, CA, a joint venture between GM and Toyota.
Hamilton serves on the board of directors, Goodwill Easter Seals, Minnesota, and on the Advisory Board, University of Wisconsin, Stout Supply Chain Program. He has been a guest instructor on lean manufacturing at St. Thomas University, St. Paul, MN. Additionally, he holds bachelor’s degrees from Morehouse College and Georgia Institute of Technology where he also earned a master’s degree in international logistics. He also holds a master’s in engineering management from the University of Detroit, Mercy. He is certified in production control and inventory management (APICS).
With his proven ability to drive innovation and deliver products at the speed of the customer and strong record of achieving competitive advantage and profitable growth in varied economic conditions, Hamilton is a welcome addition to this year’s Summit.
