ROI and Quality Based Education: The Practical Answer in Today’s Economic Environment

Every company, every agency, every military service today confronts the same question: “How do we enhance customer satisfaction and increase our business while reducing costs.”

The answer is quality based education that demonstrably reduces, rework, eliminates defects—AND tracks and calculates real savings. Dr. Bob Gee’s overview includes 10 helpful, practical suggestions for making a “business case” which is credible, persuasive and has achieved results.  The program is interactive, paints the big picture, and is practical. It includes a summary of how ASQ credits are recognized by institutions nation-wide.

About Our Speakers

Dr. Robert GeeDr. Bob Gee has over thirty years’ hands-on experience developing quality systems for diverse applications in the manufacturing, aerospace, service and military sectors. He has won awards and recognition for design and implementation of quality-based education programs which develop practical, managerial, and operational abilities in the United States, Canada, Europe, and third world. His emphasis is on demonstrating that quality-based education produces useful skill enhancement for employees and ROI for sponsors. Past clients include United Technologies, Government of Canada and Asian World Bank. Dr. Gee was educated at the University of Ottawa (Canada) and Harvard University.

Dr. Gee is the President and Founder of The National Graduate School of Quality Management (NGS). NGS is nation’s sole higher education accredited institution whose programs all use quality as their foundation. All NGS Programs replace traditional thesis or dissertation with a work-related project and recognize ASQ experience toward advanced standing. NGS offers six sigma certificates (since 1995), and Bachelor’s Completion, Master’s and doctorates (DBA) in Quality Systems Management.

Dr. Bob Gee is a long-time ASQ member and previously served on the ASQ Board of Directors.

Elizabeth MillerElizabeth Miller is a Client Development Associate at Dale Carnegie Training in Minnesota. Currently responsible for public enrollment courses, Elizabeth also manages Dale Carnegie Minnesota’s virtual voice and social media strategy.

Elizabeth came to Dale Carnegie in the summer of 2011 after receiving a dual-degree in English and Philosophy at Boston College. When she wasn’t working on her thesis, Elizabeth spent her time involved with the Quality of Student Life Committee and volunteered in the Student Admissions Department.

Having relocated from Boston, Elizabeth is exploring all that the Twin Cities have to offer by becoming involved in local associations, specifically those targeted at her interest in young professional development and emerging leaders. In her free time, Elizabeth gives back by volunteering as a meal deliverer at Open Arms of Minnesota. When she’s not helping young professionals or feeding the hungry, Elizabeth can often be found singing along to the latest Top 40 hit in spin class or connecting with her introspective side at yoga. One of her greatest passions is travel, and she is constantly planning her next adventure.
