About Our Presentation

Ninfa “Connie” Mayta, PMP will lead a networking discussion which will be describing various career paths for professionals in advanced quality roles.  There will be interaction by tables where participants can share experiences of where they have been, and where they are right now.   The presenter will invite the audience to project some milestones, and to lay a plan on how to get closer to towards their ideal career goals.

About Our Speaker

 Connie Mayta is a freelance project manager who serves and leads projects with intentionality.  She believes in the importance of adding value to organizations, project teams, and individual experts for becoming the best rendering of themselves.  She graduated from Western Michigan University with a BS degree in Engineering Graphics, and received a Master’s of Science in Management in Project Management from Colorado Technical University.  She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), issued by the Project Management Institute.  She is also a certified Trainer, Speaker, and Coach for the John Maxwell Team.

Connie’s background in the past 20 years has been in collective project management experiences in three primary sectors.   Her experience is comprised of four years in plant & process engineering in office furniture products, supplying customers such as Steelcase, Haworth, and Herman Miller; then thirteen years in advanced quality roles in automotive product development, employed by Johnson Controls servicing most original equipment manufacturers such as Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Honda, and Jaguar; and six years as project engineer in food processing with Kraft Foods serving in capital projects in packaging, building construction, and facility maintenance.
