About Our Presentation

Hypothesis tests are an important tool to aid decision making.  But in any decision there is a chance to make an incorrect decision.  Theo Black will discuss Type I and II errors and illustrate the impact of sample size on estimation confidence.

About Our Speaker

Theo Black, ASQ CSSBB, is a UnitedHealth Group Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He works with Optum, a division of UnitedHealth Group,  a Fortune 20 company and leading health services business.

Theo has spent over 25 years teaching statistical quality, and leading quality improvement initiatives. He has been a six sigma professional since 2000. As an IT project manager and Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Theo has used Kepner-Tregoe techniques solve problems. Theo will share techniques for quickly and effectively solving problems: skills that can benefit all business leaders and especially quality professions.
