About our Speaker

Mark has over 30 years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Auditing, Quality Management Systems Development, Environmental Management Systems, Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, Energy Management Systems and Emergency Preparedness Management Systems Experience.  His background information listed below demonstrates years of commitment to the standards community, especially to the adoption and continued development of Management Systems.

Mark has extensive experience speaking to professional conferences, industry and civic groups on the topics of Quality, Risk, Integrated Management Systems Standards and achieving business results through the application of these Standards.  He had full management and development responsibility for the Quality College at Honeywell’s Solid State Electronics Division.  He has successfully implemented Total Quality Management systems in a variety of companies.  He was a 1993 and 1994 Senior Examiner for the Minnesota Quality Award.

Mark was the author and senior instructor of AQS Management Systems training programs including;

  • ISO 9001 Quality
  • ISO 31000 Risk
  • ISO 14001 Environmental
  • OHSMS 18001 Health and Safety
  • Energy

Mark is the founder and President of AQS Management Systems Inc., a consulting and training company that focuses on Performance Improvement.  AQS Management Systems is the largest Exemplar Global Certified Training Provider in the world.

Mark holds a BS Degree in Industrial Technology and a MS Degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering.
